| The Temple |
For the great master H.P. Lovecraft.
Verse 1:
When sun has it's feast
This place's dark and cold
Ruined temple of Seth
Guards treasures of old
Greed is worst of the sins
Or so people say
Never wake up dead gods
Or be ready to pay
Chorus 1:
Whisper touches your mind
Icy stare, smell of death
From unseen to unknown
Leads the pathway to Seth
Verse 2:
Riders headed to East
Through wind and the sand
No way to turn back
Or shift from the plan
Then they heard strange call
Mix of song and the scream
And they could not resist
To the magic of dream
Chorus 2:
Whisper touches your mind
Icy stare, smell of death
From unseen to unknown
Leads the pathway to Seth
Verse 3:
And they walked though secret gates
Stone above and stone below
Deeper, deeper down they go
Flickering light of humble torch,
Breathing fear weaves the spell
Mesmerizing, droning hell
Chorus 3:
Open eyes and see his face
Find the strength
to leave this place
Run to light and win the race
Horrors feed on your believes
Break the spell, escape and live
Verse 4:
Never-ending row of steps
Limbs betray and shadows dance,
Feel the burden of their glance
The procession starts its march
Nitokris leads walking Ka's
Darkness swallows light of stars
Verse 5:
Forty centuries has passed
Dust of time had covered walls
The obsessive voice still calls
Reckless souls forget their names
On the concealed desert way
For eternity they'll stay
